Kell Am See, Germany - July 2, 2011

Today we sleep in. Jerry makes us breakfast with these huge fresh eggs and yummy sausage we got at the local market. We watch some women's world cup on TV. It is great they have so much coverage of the games here! We leave to ride bikes when the USA is beating Columbia 2-0. The US looks great- aggressive, smart and skilled! I think they have a chance to win the Cup!



We ride our bikes to the little town of Kell.





We ride to a little restaurant where there are other cyclists(more pro looking than us however) and order cold drinks.








Back to the resort where we enjoy some of the activities. Bowling.....



Jerry won. Grace came in second and Makayla got the only strike!

We have a nice dinner at home -snitzel that we bought in town, salad and local bread from the bakery. It is nice to relax in our own place while becoming acquainted with the beautiful German countryside. Still fighting with the time difference a bit so I have to force the girls - and myself- to go to bed before midnight. Tomorrow we have plans for Eltz Castle and the Mosel River.
